Playing on the ambiguity of a commerce space that does not sell goods and cannot be entered into by the public,they take the idea into the domain of cinema/theatre.It is where the divide between the artist and the viewer is clear cut (stage and auditorium). Mapped as the glass dividing the inside (the performer/artist space) of the gallery from the outside (the passer by or/consumer)and viewer where it exists. Loss and V*place the familiar within new context and highlight the ambivalence of the position  of performers and viewers who are collaborators on equal terms in the production of meaning. 

Loss and V* observe and comment on the role that the gallery plays within the culture and its systems. Is it a shop? Is it a public space? Is it a display case?Mimicking the audience/consumer manipulation by first drawing attention then seducing the passers into stopping with a promise of being transported from the greyness of everyday experience to being a part of, belonging and receiving attention. They invite the random process to occur, which adds texture, unpredictability and spontaneity to each performance but in turn loose total
control and embrace the unplanned.
